What is FUSiON?
FUSiON is a ministry for young adults in the Morton area who have a desire to know God, to understand His Word, and to fellowship with other believers. We have adopted a schedule that reflects those values. FUSiON will meet every Sunday night at 7:15, usually meeting at Grace Church in the Higher Grounds room (activities center entrance).
- The first Sunday of every month will be a night of fellowship, with activities such as bonfires, cookouts, games, etc. This night will often be at other locations, so check the calendar!
- The second Sunday of every month will focus on coming to a better understanding of God's word through solid Bible teaching. We will have various speakers throughout the year speak on what God has laid on their hearts.
- The third Sunday of every month will be a night of prayer and praise. In the busyness that accompanies all our lives, we often neglect to just be still and spend time with our Heavenly Father. We desire for this to be a time where we pour out our hearts to God through prayers and praise.
- The fourth Sunday of every month will again focus on studying God's Word through teaching, with an emphasis on how we can practically apply what we learned to our everyday lives.
- The fifth Sunday (on the months that have them), is an opportunity for members of the group to share what God has laid on their hearts through studying His Word. This is not an open mic night, but a prepared talk and discussion. If this would be something that interests you, please contact the FUSiON Committee if you wish to share.
Our prayer is that FUSiON will not just be a group that meets on Sunday nights, but a community of believers that is actively engaging one another. We see this happening through many avenues such as small groups, fellowship activities, service projects, etc. Our desire is for this to be YOUR ministry, and we encourage you to approach it as such. If you have ideas for fellowship activities and service projects, please do not hesitate to suggest or even organize these activities with the FUSiON Committee. The true community we desire to build will come from God through the desire of its participants
